Profile
George is an exciting stroke player ad brilliant fielder who took over the Scotland captaincy during the 1995 season. He has played and captained Scotland at Under 16, Under 19 and B XI levels. He has now played 66 times for the full Scotland side with a top score of 181 in the 1996 three-day first-class match against Ireland. His two previous highest scores were attained in the corresponding fixture in 1992, just missing out on the distinction of two centuries in one first-class game. He works as a primary school teacher at George Watson's College in Edinburgh.
