Davies to undergo surgery

Redbacks batsman, Chris Davies, will undergo surgery on January 7, to repair a ruptured ligament in his left elbow.

The injury worsened during the recent Pura Cup game against the Western Warriors, and Chris and SACA medical staff decided, following that game, to proceed with surgery.

It is likely that the surgery will rule Chris out of the rest of the 2002/03 season.
