Hampshire rest four players for the four day Tourist match against New Zealand 'A' at United Services Ground at Portsmouth starting on Wednesday 12th July.
Robin Smith, Shane Warne, Dimitri Mascarenhas and Adi Aymes are all excluded, as the county give first-class debuts to Ian Brunnschweiler the reserve wicket-keeper and Chris Tremlett.
Brunnschweiler (21) has impressed in his first full season with Hampshire, taking over the roll of reserve wicket-keeper following the retirement of Mark Garaway last winter. Born in Southampton he is a product of Hampshire's Youth Development scheme educated at King Edward VI School in the city.
Tremlett (18) a 6ft 6inch medium fast bowler, is the son of Hampshire's Director of Cricket Tim, and grandson of Somerset's Maurice. Another product of Hampshire Youth policy, he has put in some usefull performances at 2ndXI level.
