Meuleman called for injured Marsh

THE Western Australian selectors today announced a change to the Western Warriors team to play an ING Cup match against Queensland in Brisbane on Friday.

Batsman Scott Meuleman has been added to the squad of 13 players.

Meuleman replaces the injured Shaun Marsh in the squad. All-rounder Kade Harvey also joined the squad in Brisbane today.

Marsh has returned to Perth after straining his hamstring during the Pura Cup match against the Bulls on Monday.

The Warriors ING Cup squad is:
Michael Hussey (captain), Ryan Campbell (vice-captain), Jo Angel, Michael Clark, Murray Goodwin, Kade Harvey, Brad Hogg, Scott Meuleman, Matthew Nicholson, Marcus North, Chris Rogers, Brad Williams and Paul Wilson.

Meuleman, 22, was called into the senior Warriors team from the Second XI team currently playing a four-day match against ACT in Canberra.

In-form Scarborough batsman David Bandy has been added to the Warriors Second XI, replacing Meuleman for next week's match against Victoria in Melbourne.
