Tom Lawes

Another exciting prospect off the Surrey production line, Tom Lawes is an allrounder combining middle order batting with skilful pace bowling.

He took to first-team cricket in 2022 with aplomb, debuting in all three formats and having a solid impact in the County Championship with the ball, taking 18 wickets at 23.72, including 4 for 51 against Kent in his first innings in the competition. He assumed greater responsibility in the Royal London Cup, with Surrey depleted by the men's Hundred, returning 318 runs (at 53.00) and 8 wickets.

Like many who make it through the system at The Oval, he attended Cranleigh School and plays Surrey Championship cricket for Cranleigh CC.
