The Moin-Ud-Dowlah cricket tournament, conducted in Hyderabad,
has been one of the oldest competitions in the country. At one
time it was also among the most prestigious tournaments in the
country, in which the top teams and the leading players regularly
took part. Over the years it has lost some of its glamour but
still retains its hold as one of the most important early season
