Before we arrived in SL, we were all told the story by the guys who had been here on the "A" tour in '98 that July and August was not to the best time of year to tour here. The reason being was that this is the rainy season and they had lost about 3 of their 6 weeks to the monsoon waters from above. [More]

The first thing that struck me over the few days we've been here in Sri Lanka is the close similarity to India, having just toured there a few months ago. The temperatures are about equal and the humidity is the same as we experienced in the one-dayer in Cochin, really hot and humid. [More]
