Erapalli Prasanna and Srinivas Venkataraghavan were two of the finest spin bowlers of their generation. Their careers overlapped from 1967 to 1979 during which they were sometimes colleagues and sometimes rivals. But each had his own distinctive style and technique. Pras and Venkat were master strategists who plotted an opponent's downfall as much with their bowling skills as with their tactical acumen.
